index.jsp in URL

index.jsp hidden in url

Hey,

I have a jsp based website and currently when I type
www.domain.com it translates it to www.domain.com/index.jsp , is there a way where i can truncate the url so that when i type www.domain.com the url stays the same (aka www.domain.com)

Can someone help me out asap.
