We have a client which works with Oracle Internet Application Server, and he claims there is no way he can accomplish 301 Redirects.
How can we prove him wrong? Would appreicate any info which relates to the matter.
Thanks.

What sort of 301 redirect?
Just non-www to www, or multiple domain canonicalisation, or something else?

Multiple domain canonicalization mainly.
Thanks

I'm not sure what the implications of your Oracle server implementation are, vis-a-vis Apache module execution and redirects, but we have a very-recent thread giving an example of using Apache mod_rewrite for multiple domain canonicalization [webmasterworld.com].
