I'm having a hell of a time figuring something out.

Let's say I have site Z.com. On this sie I have subdirs to act as subdomains; eg x.z.com and y.z.com. x and y also exist physically at z.com/x and z.com/y.

I would like to get WMPMU woking in a situation like this for x.z.com/blog and y.z.com/blog(which would be z.com/x/blog and z.com/y/blog on my server) who have completely different content and completely different keywords/niches targeted.

Does anyone have any idea how to set this up with wordpress MU? I'm hesitant to install MU to the root of the domain as it might a screw with existing scripts that already operate on there.

If there is anyone out there who can help out, it would be greatly appreciated.

You'll need a rewrite to connect the URL request to the respective filepath.

You'll need an optional redirect to stop direct access to the blog via the folder-based URLs.

I'm not that ultra technical on htaccess and rewrite in general so if you could help spell that out a tad, it would be a huge favor.

Thanks in advance.
