htaccess hotlink

Hi, I use MAMBO CMS and they told me that to enable hotlink, I have to manually add it to .htaccess.

However, I tried all codes but I can't seem to prevent hotlinking htm files.

You see, I got flash (music) embedded html files on my website and when someone clicks on the play button, it opens in a new window and plays it automatically. How do I block other users from linking my htm files?
