Hello All!

I am having a problem with the installation of DomainKeys on my server.

I have a dedicated server from Hosting Matters and I have DomainKeys installed for another domain on the same server.

The problem that i'm running into is that I have a domain that is an addon account of another (basically hosted within a sub-directory of another account).

When I install DomainKeys via the cPanel I get no errors. It "appears" to work fine HOWEVER when I check the headers in Yahoo I get the following:

Authentication-Results: mta215.mail.re2.yahoo.com from=paperboyllc.com; domainkeys=permerror (no key)
Received: from 63.247.138.128 (EHLO ws1.wpdnsgroup.com) (63.247.138.128)
by mta215.mail.re2.yahoo.com with SMTP; Mon, 04 Aug 2008 21:27:03 -0700
DomainKey-Signature: a=rsa-sha1; q=dns; c=nofws; s=default; d=paperboyllc.com;
h=Received:To:Subject:Date:From:X-Mailer:MIME-Version:Content-Type:Message-Id:X-HMDNSGroup-MailScanner-Information:X-MailScanner-ID:X-HMDNSGroup-MailScanner:X-HMDNSGroup-MailScanner-SpamCheck:X-HMDNSGroup-MailScanner-From:X-Spam-Status:X-AntiAbuse:X-AntiAbuse:X-AntiAbuse:X-AntiAbuse:X-AntiAbuse;

As stated in the headers it can't find the key. I have done another test at one of those places where you send your mail too and it tells you if it's working and it also says it can't find the key.

I've checked the ZONE and sure enough the key is there. default_domainkey 14400 IN txt

"k=rsa; p=MHwwDQYJKoZIhvcNAQEBBQADawAwaAJhAMbETL+7z6Ndf3BoWHDlXks1gBOp0iyaSTgXf1FQoyMq5QPgPzWep5FzczmrFx/3tO2HptoXpC4ui8XscWUAawAYbKPsDvm7Oh5M2YxY53JRITN7ZTVmLXoX+KItXAEAywIDAQAB;"

I wonder if the problem is because it's a addon domain and I should move the domain to it's own account (easy to do) but I wanted to keep them together if possible.

I don't really see why it would work for one account and not another.

I have tried to add it via SSH and the error I get is:

[paper@ws1 paperboyllc]$ /usr/local/cpanel/bin/domain_keys_installer paper
open3: exec of /usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/bin/dnsadmin-ssl failed at /usr/local/cpanel/Cpanel/DnsUtils/AskDnsAdmin.pm line 65

open3: exec of /usr/local/cpanel/whostmgr/bin/dnsadmin-ssl failed at /usr/local/cpanel/Cpanel/DnsUtils/AskDnsAdmin.pm line 65

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

Thanks in advance,

Nick
