How to create 301 redirects in Moss 2007

I hope this is the right place for this message since I found no other suitable forum for this question.

I'm going to upload a new website instead of a current website. The new website has new URLs and will operate on Moss 2007.

I would like to create 301 redirects from the old urls to the new ones. How can I implement this through the moss 2007 server?

Thanks a lot.

I don't know anything about moss, but see this recent thread [webmasterworld.com] for a warning about changing all your URLs.

Does anyone know anything about moss? I'm having the exact same problem... there must be a way to do 301 redirects in Sharepoint server!

Since it is a Microsoft server, you'll probably have better luck in our Microsoft IIS Web Server and ASP.NET [webmasterworld.com] forum.

I'll hazard a guess that you can use ISAPI rewrite if a control panel option is not available, as can be done on IIS servers.
