remove /var/chroot getting internal server error

I need some help removing /var/chroot from my path

I have godaddy hosting.

I was messing around with .htaccess file because I wanted to install drupal on the same hosting account that I have creloaded shopping cart and drupal requires register_globals off, creloaded requires it on.

godaddy does not support changing it from on/off for individual folders.

unfortunately I didn't find this out until after I screwed some stuff up.

previously my directories would be /home/content/l/a/z/lazywebguy/html/toystore/install

now they show up as

/var/chroot/home/content/l/a/z/lazywebguy/html/toystore/install

how do I remove the /var/chroot/ it seem to be screwing up my design control option in creloaded, fortunately everything else works fine on the site.
