Very Odd issue here:

I have a dedicated server, I have not made any changes (cPanel and/or WHM my have auto updated: WHM 11.15.0 cPanel 11.18.6-S24255
REDHAT Enterprise 5.1 i686 on standard - WHM X v3.1.0) and the following just started to happen:

I have a heavy amount of referrals coming from url:

[example1.com:2086...]

which is on IP 70.86.yyy.xx

This traffic is going to various pages on www.example2.com

which is on IP 70.86.qqq.zzz

Any thoughts?

I found the cause/solution.

Cause: cPanel update
Solution: Server reboot
