Apache web server v1.2 web log config

My first post so Hi folks

I'm trying to find out if you can set the web logs in Apache v1.2 to record transactions in 1000's of a second.

I know you can in newer versions [httpd.apache.org ] using the %...D switch but I cant seem to get it to work in V1.2.

Probably a very obvious and easy question to you folks but doing my head in.

If you see the same page for 1.3 [httpd.apache.org] it's not there at all. I'm guessing it can't be done.

My recommendation is to upgrade!

Ah well no harm in hoping. Regrettably upgrading isn't option.
