Hi, I was referred here by the Google webmaster forum. I need some help with .htaccess. I am a total beginner, I just need to know what code to use to accomplish this. My preferred form
is the www. The www version of my site has a PageRank 5 and all the
backlinks I can find use the www.

Problem is my checkout SSL runs under the non www.
This was a mistake by my former hosting co. as I had requested the www.
on the cert. They apologized and then tried to sell me a new cert,
which I didn't want to pay for.

So, I while I would dearly love to do the global redirect to www., if
I do, it breaks my checkout pages. Is there anyway to do the redirect
but "exclude" https? Help please!

Hi rachel123 and welcome to WebmasterWorld!

We're not set up to write your code for you here, but rather to help you write your own code and get it working. Links to resources are available in our Forum Charter (link above left). Also, a search turns up this previous thread, which may help you get started -- Read the whole thing to see the resolution for the SSL issue: [webmasterworld.com...]

I did it myself and it worked! Thank you so much for sending me to that thread!
