Apache virtual hosting and SSL

Is it possible to have virtual hosts on 1 IP with SSL

If i were to use Apache's virtual host system and have several domains on one server, all of them running from one IP address, would it be possible for the 1st (or default domain) to have an SSL cert. The other sites do not need a SSL cert.

Or will i have to get another IP for the server for the 1st domain, then run the rest of the domains off the 2nd IP? or is this too not possible?

If it helps the domains are of the style
mydom.co.uk
myotherdom.com
newdom.co.uk

Just answered my own question i think. Apache docs say that it is possible have one host on IP1 and lots of virtual hosts on IP2,

though still not sure if the SSL is bit is appliable?
