Redirect current domains

Hi,

I have a main site at domain1.com as well as other domain names which are a similar name such as domain-2.com and domain3.com.au. These other domains are all pointed to domain1.com

I'd like to ensure that any traffic that might come in on any of these other 2 domains get rewritten to domain1.com. If I'm not mistaken, there's a chance of Google penalty on duplicate content. Also a penalty on diluting search results and therefore ranking.

Could someone help me with the .htaccess file code I need as well as confirm my Google fears and ranking thoughts (though the last bit might need to move to another thread. Please say so if that's the case)

Any help would be fantastic indeed.

Several of the threads turned up by this search [google.com] should help you get started.
