Hi,

We moved our blog old_domain.com/wordpress on the url we want to use from now example.com

We can not have double content,as google will punish us for that.

We want to redirect the exact pages, so that we don't loose rankings we already have.
For example

old-domain.com/wordpress/contact-live-the-life-tv/ must go to
example.com/contact-live-the-life-tv/

How do we redirect this? Which code do we use where?

A single "Redirect [httpd.apache.org] 301" directive in .htaccess in the old-domain.com/wordpress directory will redirect all resources requested from that directory to the same page in the new domain.

Thanks Jim,

It seems simple, but I'm not a programmer, which code do we have to put in the .htaccessfile then?

Thanks so much,
Katrien

Please read the Redirect documentation at the link above, post your best-effort code here for discussion, and we'll help you get it working. You may also wish to review our forum charter [webmasterworld.com] for more information about how to get the most from this forum.
