httpd.exe going crazy

Hi guys

I am anewbie. I am running win xp pro sp2, 2ghz celeron 1/2 gb ram, Apache 2.2.6, mySQL 5, Php 5 and Xcart

when ever i open a page in xcart, the CPU goes crazy, close to 100%. I notice HTTPD.EXE chewing up a lot of CPU. is this normal? I read in some forum, they suggest removing it. yikes.

I can't comment much, except to say that httpd.exe is your Apache server, so I doubt you want to remove it... ;)
