error code 137 installing apache

apache 1.3.31 in solaris 9.0

i'm installing apache 1.3.31 in a brand new reinstalled solaris 9.0 i already install gcc 3.4.2 but whe i type ./configure i get the error code 137.

any clues will help.

ok, now i tried with the version 1.3.33 downloaded form www.apache.org and i get almost the same error but this :

gcc: fatal: libiconv.so.2: openfailed: No such file or directory

what can i do now i don't think that the source file is the problem?
