Problem with rewrite to a directory type URL

Hi,

I m facing some problems in URL rewrite.

We have URLs like: www.abc.com/thumbnails.php?album=3277&lev=top

It is Ok to rewrite it as
www.abc.com/3277/top.html
or
www.abc.com/thumbnails-album-3277-lev-top.htm

Can i re write this as www.abc.com/Uppcoming-events

Please advice
