I’ve a site with some mp3’s and everyman and their dog is linking to them. I link to them from two other sites myself.

I would like to have requests for any of the mp3’s not from those two sites redirected to another mp3 which is just a short message telling people which site of mine to visit.

Believe i can do this with .htaccess? any pointers would be appreciated

Cheers

Thanks for pointer Jim.

Had a look through those and am still non the wiser. In fact now i’m even more confused.

Can you even do what i want? Redirect a request for one mp3 to another? See examples with mp3's in, but also see a post saying you can't redirect an mp3

Never really got the hang of regular expressions and reading all those examples makes little sense. Can see how some of them work but not how to modify them to make them do exactly as i want.

Guess i'll just rename the files on regular basis.

cheers
