Problem installing Apache 2.2.4 on Windows 2000 server

Hello,

I am trying to install Apache 2.2.4 on a windows 2000 server box (I know... but for compatibility issues with other software it has to be win2000).

However, The installer gets to "Creating Shortcuts" but gets stuck there. When I go to the install directory and manually run httpd, it will tell me there is no httpd.conf

Anyone seen this problem before and found a solution to it?

Have you run the install as an Administrator?

(Gotta check the obvious stuff first.)

Of course, I do not touch a pc of which I am not the admin ;-)
