XAMPP Authentication Problem

Hello all,

I am a newbie at installing this XAMPP and I had it working one day and then the next I forgot the password I applied. The thing is, now I get this Authorization required message dialogue box that appears and it asks me for a User Name and Password - damn if I can remember it. Could anyone help in suggesting how I can reset it, remove the user name and password and or get get back to my localhost so I can test my Joomla pages. Any and all help to resolve this Authorization Required with XAMPP would be a great help.
