I am a total htaccess newbie, and I am hoping this can be done. I have 2 domains:
mySite.com
emptySite.com

I have made a subdomain named example.mySite.com and I have successfully configured www.emptySite.com to go to mySite.com with the clients address bar still saying "www.emptySite.com", however, I want it to be configured to be directed to the subdomain example.mySite.com instead. Is that possible?

It sounds like you are looking for a simple Redirect directive, as documented in Apache mod_alias.

If that's not enough to get you going, then please tell us *how* --specifically-- have you implemented the function you describe? -- What method, modules, or directives did you use?
