Hi there,

I have lots of pages in my web site pointing to directory-names/index.php and I would like to change all these urls to directory-names/ if I do this manually i know that it will take a lot of time. So I was wondering if there is any way to change my .htaccess and re-write these urls. Any advice would be really appreciated.

Thanks in advance..

If you mean you have a lot of links to /index.php, then you'll have to edit those links on those pages *and* redirect any inbound links (using .htaccess) as well.

Look into some of the free and shareware multi-file find-or-search-and-replace editors to edit your pages. That may save you a lot of time.
