Virtual Domain help

I am currently hosting www.domainname.info and what I would like to do is give my friends some space on that domain and thus jeff.domainname.info, deb.domainname.info, etc, etc.

I set up DomainAlias in Vhosts.conf but it stil doesn't work.

I then added a zone statement in zone.conf and created a zone file in /var/named/ but it still doesn't work...

Can someone tell me what I am missing?
