How to check the referrer and do the redirect

Hi,
I wanted to do a referral base re-direct via .htaccess. I have seen few examples here but I couldn’t figure out the final code which i can use on my .htaccess file.

What I am trying to do is - I have a webpage www.example.com/image.htm which has a simple image abc.jpg inside it and when user comes from pagewww.example.com/try1.htm, he is able to see abc.jpg image on the page, but if the user comes from www.example.com/try2.htm he is shown xyz.jpg image.

Please let me know is it possible and what code I can use on .htaccess file.
