redirect from addon domain

My website www.example2.com and www.example.com

example2.com is an add-on domain that starts in a sub directory called "example2".

I want to redirect example2.com to www.example.com (the main domain name) but have it appear if it is example2.com

The above statement is self-contradictory, since a redirect, by definition, will change the browser's address bar.

Would it be correct to rephrase that as, "I want requests for example2.com to serve content from example.com?
