problem with apache tomcat

problem running JSP files

Hi all,
i have install tomcat to my programme file.so my path is c://programme files/apache software foundation/tomcat/.
i want to create a directoy in the root nd want to access my jsp pages from here,but it's not allowing me to do this,but if i am storing my jsp pages to jsp example they are running perfectly fine ,but i have to run them from the jsp example directory.
Please help me regarding this

I'm not a tomcat user, but I'd suggest looking through your tomcat and server configuration files for lines that reference the "example" path, and changing those to point to your actual path.
