Can someone give me the correct mod rewrite code for this dilemna please?

I need to redirect permanently from
[mysite.co.uk...]
to
[mysite.co.uk...]

How do i do this please?

I solved this same problem over a year ago thanks to this forum:

[webmasterworld.com...]

You will never land on a web page on my site with a URL ending in "index.html". Works great.
