I have a real issue with my SSL installation on Apache 2.2.3 running on a RH environment. When I open up the firewalls for port 443 I get a huge traffic spike from the server up to 25M/bits a second outbound from the server. I can't figure a way of debugging the output to see what the hell is going on. I dont see a massive corresponding increase in incoming traffic. There are alot of 443 connections being made but i cant see (given that the data is encrypted) what data is being passed from the httpd process to the client. No useful log information is being generated so I am really stuck as to what the data may be.
Any ideas would be most helpfull.
