I have apache installed on my windows xp machine
and get
Apache -k runservice -E c:\dprop\ap.log
(OS 1063)The service process could not connect to the service controller. : Error starting service
control dispatcher
I upgraded to latest version
Server version: Apache/2.0.53
Server built: Feb 10 2005 06:11:34
and still getting the same error.
I removed the service and recreated it - but same error.
This has worked before, but I don't know the reason why this stopped working.
Any help/hint is welcome.
