301 redirect for subfolders

I've set up a 301 redirect to switch vistors to a new website, which is working fine for the root directory. However pages that are being found via the search engines in sub directories are now drawing a blank. Anyone know how to solve this problem?

Hmmm... have you got the present code you're using? Also have you set this up local to the root directory in a .htaccess file or is it in the httpd.conf? - shouldn't matter but might depend on how it's written, e.g. local or domain based. Also are you proxy passing the users across? Lastly you could try looking in the logs to see what type of errors are being trapped, i.e, to confirm they are all 301's
