Is there a way that I can share and htaccess file. For example i want all my subdomains to share the htaccess file from my main site? Can this be done so i can block one ip and that will affect it in all subdomains as well? Thanks for any ideas.

If all your subdomains live in the same root.
Otherwise, I think you can use a symlink to link it from the subdomain directory to the other domain directory.
