I tried stopping coldfusion on my vps but when I do I keep getting this error in logs:

jrApache[31326: 31757] jrConnect: POLLHUP so ECONNREFUSED
[Thu Aug 17 19:13:15 2006] [notice] jrApache[31326: 31757] 127.0.0.1:51011 connect failed: 111 111 Connection refused, no sock added to pool

Could someone please advice on what should I do to stop it and not get error logs since I don't really need to use coldfusion.

I am using plesk 7.5.4 reloaded and I just stopped it from service management tab. I don't know if there is anything else I should do.

What version of Coldfusion are you running?

There is a way via the code to do it *if im not mistaken*

It is ColdFusion Server 7.0.0

I think it stops fine from plesk panel but something still tries to reach it afterwards so it creates error logs.

Let me track down a friend I know he wrote some code to do this and kept taking my site down along with his while he tested it.

Lets just say it works and I wasnt happy that it did :)

It wasnt pure CF... he had written something else that worked with CF.

- Or hes just lying so that he doesnt have to give me the code.
