Simulate Ftp Access Locally

Hi,

I would like to know if it s possible, running APACHE with EASYPHP + PHP and Mysql - simulate locally on my own pc a FTP ACCESS ... I mean, throught a client FTP WORKS for example, put HOST (that would be:localhost or 127.0.0.1), with LOGIN AND PASS - and see on that DIR all folders, files etc...

I am a newbie so, " stupid " questions like that arise time to time...I searched the web a lot but no solution until now and I can t believe this is such a difficult question to solve.

I am RUNNING WINDOWS XP - with -> EASYPHP (APACHE - 1.3.33 / PHP 4.3.10 / MYSQL 4.1.9
