Two unknown processes shuts the websites down

I suddenly have like every 15 minutes these two processes sess_b1acb606 in my list in TOP, and when they are up httpd is running but I can't open any web site on the server.

Does anyone know why is this happening?

Unfortunately, the only references on the Web to this process name point to this thread.

(Also, unless you want these threads on WebmasterWorld to outrank your site for searches for your own domain name, carefully consider our rule against posting URLs that point to your site...)

sess_
is the default prefix for PHP session files. They are not, however, processes. Have you tried to locate the processes in your filesystem yet?
