Using mod_rewrite to make dynamic pages appear static

Greetings ,
We have a webserver that generates dynamic pages with php and we have made a particular page available with an easy url. For example:

[virualhost.com...]

will redirect to

[virtualhost.com...]

This works great, but now we would like to take it a step further and return the page to the clients browser with the same url they requested it with.

so the user only ever sees

[virualhost.com...]

Any ideas folks. Thanks so much.
