I am some to be learning PHP and Apache. I am getting to grips which PHP quickly, however, I am looking to learn Apache from a url rewriting perspective. I have looked though DMOZ and tried loads of se queries (even a site search here). Can anyone point me to a simple apache url rewriting guide.
Thanks
Chris
Take it you've already read the horses' mouth:
[httpd.apache.org...]
Watch your server load if you have a busy site...
Go get O'Reilly's book on regular expressions. It's almost necessary, IMHO. The rest of mod_rewrite is trivial in comparison to the regular expressions.
Also, we have a mailing list for SEO rewriting techniques that has about 200 members, but I'm not sure if I'm allowed to post the link here, so I can sticky you if necessary.
