I have never come accross this problem before. I installed php on apache manually. When I test php installation from localhost using <?phpinfo ();?>, it shows all info. However when I try to test php from IE using domain name It shows a "hint of php info" and instantly "server not found". Now when I try the same thing using "FIREFOX" it does show some php info.
What could be the cause of the error?
I'm not entirely sure, it certainly is odd behavior. My first guess is browser-related, which shouldn't be too far off considering it works in one and not the other ;)
Have you tried clearing the cache in MS IE?
