Apache conf I write PHP on my personal win 98 system with Apache/PHP/mySql installed. As I test I notice on this computer if a graphic is not available the browser hangs (IE6). But if I use the same code on my web hosting service it just gets a "graphic" not there icon and finishes loading the page.
Is the an Apache configuration line for "time-out" on a localhost graphic?

I am not sure why it is doing that but [apache.org...] might be a good place to start.

I had a similar problem with pages taking ages to be displayed when hosting localy. Have you tried viewing the info on another comp on the same network. If you are trying to view pages on the same box that hosts them it seams to take quite a while. the computer is having to display and serve them..takes a while.
