apache & language issue

I am from Romania-Eastern Europe. On localhost i can't view some letters "þ" or "º". On my server it's no problem.. i can see those letters. Please help me... if you have time.
I suppose that i have to make some changes in httpd... but i have no ideea what :-).

I'm not sure if I understand what your problem is, but see if the Apache AddDefaultCharset [httpd.apache.org] documentation might help you.
