htaccess hot linking

The way i have my htaccess file set up right now is to replace the picture that someone is trying to link to, with with my company logo.

This is working pretty nice.

I was wondering... would it be possible to use htaccess to put a link to my web site instead of swaping the image?

This way, I can get some free publicity, and SEs might even view this as a link to my site.

Just replace the image link with a link to the page you want to display instead.

This would cause a broken image if they try to include it on their Web page though...

You cannot replace a reuest for an image with a page.... apples and oranges!
