running slackware 10.0 with an apache 1.3 server from a cable connection through a dlink 704p router.

i can view my page internally (localhost:8080). i can view my page from other computers networked to my router via ip. i can even view my page internally through my dns name.

but when i ssh out to the campus machine and try to lynx to either my ip or dns name, i get a server not found error.

i'm reasonably sure that this isn't a router error, since when i unblock port 8080 on my firewall, the error message changes on the remote host to lynx: Can't access startfile [blah.fakedns.name:8080...]

but i don't know how to interpret that error.

k, i figured it out. isp is blocking ports 80 and 8080.
