I am new with Apache2

I need to set up Apache2 on my home computer with Windows XP

Hello all,

I am new with Apache2, so please don´t laugh at me... :) Anyway, I want to set up Apache2 on my home computer with Windows XP to be able to test my PHP scripts but I don´t really know how to do it! I have downloaded and installed Apache2 but I still could not test my PHP scripts! Actually I want my home computer with Windows XP acts as a web sever. Can you please guide me what to do and how should I set Apache2 up?
