Apache as a service...

Actually, MySQL as a service...

I've been having a big problem trying to get this apache, php and mysql installation to work. It looks like everything is fine with apache- it's running as a service. But mysql can't connect:

Could not start MySQL on the Local Compuer.

Error 3: The system could not find the path specified.

--> It's because the path in the properties section is incorrect. I've uninstalled another package (FoxServ), and reinstalled a new package (phpdev).

Basically, all I need to know is how to modify my path within 'Services'. There doesn't seem to be an easy way to change this...what file stores the 'path to executable'?

Thanks!

I think this will answer your question:
[mysql.com...]

The basic idea is you need to stop the service, then restart it, using the winnt cmd screen. When you restart it you will be giving the path to windows.
