streaming video with Apache

i am a newbie to server, pls don't mind me. I have some avi files on my website, i wanna let people stream those video files, How could i do that, thanks for your time, i'd appreciate any help

Streaming isn't really Apache-specific, so the experts on this subject may not be hanging around here. You might try either the Web Site Technology or the Graphics and Multimedia forums.
