/directory/subdir is automatically 301 to /directory/subdir/

noticed this while checking the robot logs. On all domains

is this normal? I mean it's the same info, I'm just wondering if there's anything that I did wrong. Also tested it by checking the server's headers via the web and still got the 301.

Yes, that's normal.

You can find a note about that in the Apache documentation. It's been quoted in a few threads here in the past. I'm just too lazy to look it up right now. :-P
