I think Wisenut has got better to index there sites in there SE, specialy index pages or if you do a simple search then I get good results. The only thing I miss is if you do a more specific search like wierd widges then the results is not that great.

Cant see to many changes myself - I would like to see Wisenut go somewhere one day.

Zyborg has been out crawling my website again (last few days), I did have a deepish crawl from Zyborg around 2-3 months ago but nothing seems to have made it into the serps.

I dont see to many server load errors when I have tested it the last few times though

I must admit I dont watch that SE so much, but I can see a change from the last time I was there.

The same with Alltheweb.com it has also got better, but Im affried that overture are gonna ruin that SE with paid stuff so we will see the same things all over.

The last time I sat down & used them, I would rate WiseNut behind SearchHippo, which is pretty much tied with Gigablast for me :)

Yuntis is very cool, but too little of a data set, and very slow (a lot like WiseNut...) ;)

Have they even updated their database in the last few months?

I think it is changing and from reports they are enabling Grub's crawling results to be included into the indexed database.

I am sure what we are seeing now is only the tip of the ice berg in terms of search results. When the site and the service is 100% up and running you will surely see the difference.

I'm still seeing dates from November 2002, but the sleeping giant is slowly awakening. I've seen an upsurge of activity of their bot this last week or so and Zeal placements seem to have some sort of seeding unless its a coincidence on my part.
