Not getting any from Vivisimo.com - how about ya'll?

Vivisimo meta search engine [vivisimo.com] one of the first to come up with the automatic document clustering that several engines are now doing (in similar fashion) down the side of the page, isn't sending me ANY traffic.

I recall we had a thread where it was discussed that the referrer from their engine didnt have the keywords in it, so I was wondering 1) is this still the case and 2) what kind of traffic, clicks are ya'll getting'?

1) This recent thread [webmasterworld.com] cites a Vivisimo referrer containing keywords.
2) Very, very few referrals from "V".

Last time we discussed it here (in this forum about 2 months ago) they didn't have the keyword in the referrer from what a few people said - so, I guess they are still reading here for feedback, which is good.

I fail to see how that company you mentioned has *anything* to do with whether or not we're getting traffic from Vivisimo -> the two companies are NOT related at all.

I guess if they aren't using that db, perhaps they are of the same opinion as Google re: their stuff? (since Google doesn't spider their directory....)

Since Jim answered the question of if the referrer from Vivisimo had keywords in it, that leaves me wondering, sctsai - are you getting 0 referrers like me, or a "trickle" like Jim? :)

Once in a blue moon I get a Vivisimo referral. I used to get more but it seems to have fallen off over the last year and a half to almost none. Of course they have changed their lineup of engines quite a bit since they started too so that is a factor.

I do not check Vivisimo very often, but I have gotten the impression that the emphisis of the site is more as a technology showcase as opposed to a search destination. Perhaps I'm wrong in that impression but have they really been promoting the site for search?

ixQuick, and Dogpile are the two big meta search referrers for me.
