Kartoo HTML version goes beta

Kartoo now offers an alternative to the regular flash display. The html version is only in beta. It offers the same functionality as the flash version, i.e. you can add or subtract keywords.
It's obviously an attempt at reaching out to users who are on machines without flash, or very slow connections.

The option to use html only had been there before, but now Kartoo seems to push this more to the front.

wow, some very good ideas there, the flash version is a bit different, but i like the way it shows keyword linking. Very nice way of filtering keywords too :D

Interesting to see the keywords returned when using "link:www.mysite.com" Wish there was a way to see the total number of results found and increase the number of results displayed.

argh, i have my resolution set to 1280x1024 and their html SERP doesn't look too good.

the "frames" for the refining terms and results are split horribly almost down the middle leaving lots of white space in the wrong place. they need to sort out their fromatting.

I didn't see anything about their name, but my guess (though this is from my perspective as a USA person...) is that it is a play on, "cartoon"...:)
