Anyone know why Alexa doesn't respond to [alexa.com...]

Seems like a rookie hosting setup error to me.

Are these guys serious about running a search engine/portal?

Maybe they don't wanna confuse google or other engines by having both domains crawled and mess up the ranking by some people linking to the www. and others not :D Send a note to them letting them know their site does not pull up when you type X so your sure dozens of other people are occuring the same errors when trying to goto it. Not everyone out there goes to www.domain.com heck i notice now more than ever in everyday conversation people omit the www when talking about sites when before they would say www dot whatever dot com :D

That seems like a rookie mistake...still timing out for me. :)

Wonder how much traffic they are losing? lol.

Maybe a rookie mistake but you see it all too often. I never understand that specific mistake.

Actually, that's a bit odd how they made it work. I'm getting a redirect for that link to [info.alexa.com...]

Why wouldn't they redirect to www.alexa.com?
