How long before they update?

Zyborg.looksmart.com deep crawled us today. How long do you think it takes before the site shows up in their results.
Does anyone have a clue?

Judging from past updates I would say anywhere from 6 months to a year. I believe they updated not too long ago. They slowed updates after being bought by LookSmart. I hope they will try and pump out updates once a month, but so far no luck.

korkus, WiseNut has never updated with regularity :) So, LookSmart is just maintaining the status quo...he he.

I wouldn't worry about showing up there or not. Until they figure out their marketing strategy, get more servers, and say, do one update a month for at least 3 months in a row WiseNut won't amount to much.

An engine that updates perhaps 2 to 3 times a year simply can't provide the results enough people want to justify mass adoption as an information retrieval tool.

Once they figure that out, perhaps they will be a player. For what they have, WiseNut sure does produce nice results.
