All messages about picsearch date a bit - has anyone been following what they have been doing?

Haven't been following, but it appears that their catalogue is quite substantial...I recall that they had at least a major partner or two - didn't look through their site for that info, however.

Did you try to see how they are sorting the pictures? Seems to be text / context of the page...alt tags as well, more than likely.

Filename? I don't think they are doing any character recognition.

This site *does* remind me though -> javascript to break out of frames seems to never go out of style.

Anybody getting traffic from this? If so, I might just have to go optimize my images a bit more....:)

They seem to be sorting pictures by filename and alt tag.

Pictures are then linked to the picture url and to the source url. The size of the pictures don't seem to matter too much. But I'm not sure about the actual content of the page.

I've been getting an increasing number of referrals from picsearch. So was wondering if anyone else is using their technology?

It's interesting that they also offer a 'remove image' link?
